Hi there. My name’s Sel.
I’m a graphic designer based in New England (between Boston, Massachusetts and North Kingstown, Rhode Island) and occasionally in Nova Scotia, Canada. But thanks to the internet, I’ve worked with people from all over the world. My background is in creative illustration, but I became a designer because I love to develop creative solutions to client problems. My versatile approach to creative problem-solving is what sets my design practice apart. I love to expand my creative toolbelt, whether I’m developing a brand’s strategy, practicing my block printing, or learning a new tool like Tableau.
I am passionate about discovering a solution for a client that perfectly aligns with their vision. Some of the people I work with come to me with specific ideas on this. Maybe they’re preparing to launch a new business and need a website, or they want a logo that conveys just the right combination of “cute but professional.” Sometimes, the client and I start with the limitless possibilities of a blank white page, and we work together to articulate the vision. Wherever you are in the creative process, it’s my job to meet you there and deliver a product that accurately reflects your brand (and hopefully learn something along the way).
When I’m not working on design projects, I’m going on bike rides, hosting craft nights, and getting involved in my community.
