1. A Copywriter’s Creative Spark: Muse Copywriting
Erin Kerns is a copywriter who was launching her new freelance copywriting service, but she needed some tailored creative branding and a copywriter logo to round out the launch and provide some professional flair. Her business’s goal was to provide a reliable and trustworthy copywriting service, especially for therapeutic services.

2. Copywriter Logo and Branding
In our initial conversations, Erin gravitated towards the symbolism and iconography of Grecian muses. In my logo sketches, I played with a range of Grecian iconography, but ultimately we settled on the figure of a muse. This also helped define the name of the service: Muse Copywriting. I generated a range of vibrant and eye-catching color palettes and we selected the professional and calming blue palette with the pop of yellow. I mocked up a variety of type treatments and settled on Barlow, a condensed and readable sans-serif to mimic the muse figure. To wrap up the project, I provided a couple other layout options for various applications such as her website and stationary and sent her a brand deck full of supportive resources from the color palette hex codes to accessibility standards.
