Development Process
This is my standard process for web development, but we can develop a bespoke process that integrates with your workflow.
Step 1: Discovery
In our kickoff call, we’ll outline the project scope, and talk nitty gritty. That means developing a strategy, identifying your audience, and determining the timeline. I’ll also send a creative brief to get a better sense of your goals and what you find inspiring.
Step 2: Design
Starting with your brand standards (or we can develop new ones), I’ll wireframe and concept out the website experience. We’ll discuss navigation structure and content hierarchies, and iterate on visual themes.
Step 3: Development
I’ll recommend a CMS and then start developing the site’s framework. I’ll set up the website’s global settings and design templates for different types of landing pages. We’ll discuss interactive elements such as graphics and animated features.
Step 4: Launch
Once we’re happy with the product, it’s time to launch the site and share it with the world. After the project closes, I offer content development training workshops and can provide ongoing technical support.
